The renting of facilities can cost as much as one third of your wedding budget depending on how much space is needed and how you want it themed. Travel time may be reduced as well as some wedding halls are located on the outskirts of towns near fairgrounds. Others carry a big rental charge and the date has to be just right so as not to coincide with other events.

Having a dedicated barbecue wedding is another way to make your wedding budget stretch and save big bucks provided you have family members ready to pitch in and do the cooking.
