FAMILY PORTRAIT While in Hawaii

I don’t speak a word in Hindi and had the translation on but don’t know why it writes it in Hindi vs English so I turned it off. Here is the translation:

We were in Maui about two months ago and it was our eight visit to Hawaii. We’ve been to all the island except Molokai. This was probably our last vacation there since we might move to the island in the next two years. If we don’t, we will be going somewhere else for vacation.

Since this might be our last vacation, I took my camera / flashes with me for this shot. Camera was a 40d and 580 off camera with a pocket wizard.

What do you mean by pre-design?

I pre-design the wedding album after processing your digital negatives.  Predesigning take approx 3 to 4 weeks after your wedding.  Once pre-designed, you’ll view it online or see a hard copy (on request only).  Once viewed online, you can email me or write comments online about the changes you want.  All photos of the bride and groom will be properly photoshop to make it appealing but not overly photoshop.

All of my albums are hardbound made with the best quality in mind, hand made, fine art cover, and high quality leather or premium fabric cover (your choice). My albums are meant to last for generations not 5 years like some softbound and no name brand hardbound albums. The album company I use has been around since the 1940’s and guarantee their album cover for LIFE!

WEDDING ALBUM – LEATHER FINE ART COVER
I got back from visiting my new custom album maker: Leather Craftsmen (http://www.leathercraftsmen.com/).
They have been around since 1942 and I heard NO complaint from other photographers about this company.
Dan and Chris were nice guys to show the album making process. Leather Craftsmen (it should be named Leather Craftswomen; 4 men and the rest were women) process everything by hand. Everything was eyeballed to make sure there were no flaws on the photos and in the album being made. I’m happy to say that the album covers has a lifetime warranty :) I am looking forward ordering my custom made leather wedding album from them.
All my wedding album will be leather and all fine artsy stuff. If you know what I mean. NO cheap magazine type or cheap looking book. If I design it for you, then I want to get the best album for you to keep for the rest of your life.
Update:  To compete with other wedding photographer in the area, I have included a Basic Wedding Album and a Memory Album Photobook.   The Wedding Album is a great quality album  and the photo quality is as good as my luxury album.  Furthermore, I  have included a Memory Album Photobook which will include most, if not all, of the best wedding photographs.

Wedding Photographers – HOTEL LOS GATOS

Hannelore&David was a wonderful couple. It was a great wedding and a I’m sure it was a very memorable event. Both had family coming all the way from Oregon and Hawaii. Thanks guys for being such a great couple.
It was a little tricky since I had to shoot after their ceremony. I did not have all the time to photography the formals so I had to shoot quickly. If you are planning your wedding, make sure you give the wedding photographer at least minimum of one hour or best two hours if you want to have a get better shot. Luckily, H&D had time prior to the end of the wedding for some bride/groom ….. I mean husband and wife portrait photographs.

A quick shot of the bride and groom couple kissing prior to a group shot. This was not staged.

Trying something different and got more than I hope for. I just told her to put her wedding veil over him and click, click… there it is. They are such a great sport for trying something different.
Another candid shots of the couple with my super telephoto lens. Nice and crisp but darn heavy.

Hannelore was waiting for me downstairs while I grab more family members. On my way down, she looked up and took a quick photograph. Nice!

A little flair from the lense; the image at the time looked bad but it came out very well after post processing. I had many more formal photographs of the wedding party but I don’t want to bore you…
The wedding venue was at Hotel Los Gatos in Los Gatos, California. They had a fabulous lobby for a wedding photography background that you’ll like. They had other areas inside the hotel that will be perfect for your different photography poses. Unfortunately, I did not have all the time so maybe next time I can photograph you inside their lobby. This will be a perfect place for any bride who only has less than 125 or so guests. The staff was very friendly and the food was great.
