Boudoir is also synonymous to lingerie, glamour (glamor) photography. Edward Verosky (a professional photographer) stated on his book 10 Ways to Improve Your Boudoir Photography Now “…boudoir is more about lingerie, seduction, and relatively plausible scenarios… The bedroom is the true atmosphere, or location, of boudoir. And lingerie, or less, is the only dress code.”
I have been wanting to shoot a portrait of a beautiful woman for a boudoir photography for sometime now. I finally got the chance last week when I was fortunate enough to be able to arrange a shoot with Keri.
Boudoir Photography is “A great deal of “boudoir” is now created in the photographer’s studio, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for ladies of all ages, shapes, and sizes in the “boudoir style”. This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie, and has become more than just a passing fad for brides to surprise their future husbands” (quoted from wikipedia).
