Imagine! A simple three ring binder that will serve as your wedding planner, hold all your wedding planning instruments and become a cherished family wedding keepsake. Sounds interesting?

Ruth used it and wrote the following:

WOW! My fiancé says that I am creative, but the truth is that I am a very disorganized person. Reading your article about the 3 ring wedding binder system, kept me on track. The Secret of the 3 ring wedding binder

It should not be a secret but it seems to be. We have interviewed quite a few brides and grooms, only to find out that most, no matter what their budget, couple wedding with fancy. Since it is so obvious and so simple, the majority never considered using a 3 ring binder when planning their weddings.

Using a 3 ring binder for your wedding planning, affords you an easy way to be organized keeping all your wedding information in one place. It also saves you money, time and aggravation. 3 ring binders can accommodate anyone as they are available with various spine widths from ½ an inch to 3 inches. Choose the one that is right for you.

It will eventually become a wedding keepsake. so,you may wish to purchase a 3 ring binder that has a top window for a pretty cover or your wedding picture.

In the folder, place top insert plastic sheet protectors to serve as pockets for all the wedding-related papers you’ve accumulated. You may wish to place a few business card holder pages in your binder, for fast access to contact information. Additionally, insert dividers and a 3 hole zippered pocket for pen, pencils, paper clips, etc…

Mark the divider tabs with the wedding related category such as: Bridal Gown, Ceremony Site, Reception Site, Catering, Photography etc…
Place the most active or most current in front, so that each topic will have a specific area in the binder allowing you quick referencing and retrieval.

Congratulations! You are engaged!

You are now on your wonderful yet often frustrating journey from engagement to wedding.

It is a journey that will take you through many avenues and some forks in the road where you’ll have to stop, consider and choose a path.

You must order fresh flowers long before the wedding date. Yet, by their nature, you cannot see them until the florist brings them to your wedding site. Once done, with no time to spare, whether you like them or not, you are stuck with the bouquets, flower arrangements, and other floral accessories as created by the florist.
Fresh flowers do not last long. They fade and wilt. If you want them to become keepsakes, you must have them preserved. Preserving them necessitates getting them to a reliable flower preserver and this is often a costly process.

Do I Need a Wedding Planner, Consultant, or a Coordinator?

We are asked this question often, by brides and by grooms.

For the sake of simplicity, let us refer to all as wedding specialists.

Actually the tone of the question varies between brides and grooms.

Brides get very emotional and excited about planning their dream weddings. Most want to plan it.

Grooms often would like to take an active role but believe, or thinks that their brides believes that it is the women who should plan the wedding. Many would like to, but do not volunteer because they do not want to “take away” the excitement their bride has toward planning their very special day. We are also asked by brides and grooms who hold jobs or professions, go to school or both and are pressed for time.

The question whether you need to hire a wedding specialist is rather complex. It cannot be answered with a yes or a no.
Many factors need to be considered and they will influence the decision.

The first step to answering the question is to determine

What is a wedding specialist?

A wedding specialist is professional who is familiar with the wedding circuit in your region, usually possesses a lot of experience, creative ideas, know-how, sense of organization, attention to details and strong contacts with vendors and service providers.
Most experienced wedding specialists have over the years learned what to expect, what to ask and how to negotiate with their peers.

A wedding ceremony occurs when a bride and a groom solemnly pledge themselves to one another for a lifetime, some say for eternity, in the presence of friends and family.

Celebrated today, as it has been throughout history, even to Biblical days, marriage and a wedding have been considered a sacred and solemn yet happiest event. Every culture considers a wedding, when the bride and groom enter their marriage as two individuals and becoming inextricably a part of each other, creating a new family, as the highest of all celebrations.

As the saying goes, Love makes the world go around.

Most cultures celebrate the love, devotion and commitment called wedding, with unique customs and traditions. Because the wedding is a wonderful and touching event, brides and grooms want both ceremony and reception to be personalized and unique to them. Thus, they look for meaningful experiences and often adopt customs and traditions of cultures other than their own.

The USA and recently to many other countries have become homes to people from all over the world. These people enrich the cultures with their Old Country customs, traditions and cuisine. Some traditions have become an integral pare of the modern wedding ceremony and reception.
